The children who form ‘Art Club’ were invited to attend a very special work shop at Bridge House Drawing centre in the centre of Trowbridge.

The work being exhibited was created by Andrew Grant and formed part of his ‘Forest of Imagination’ work which has been exhibited as large sculptures around Bath Abbey.

Our afternoon involved working with Alex Roberts, an artist familiar with the project. She invited us to view the art work on display and discuss what we thought we could see. The drawings were amazing and we all had our own favourites.

Next we went to the drawing room where we used our imagination to create drawings of our own day dreams. We started with simply taking a pencil for a walk and our ideas grew from there.  We had a lot of fun and all got quite messy. Everyone of us created art that was unique and powerful.

Our work was exhibited at Bridge House over half term.

Thank you to all at Bridge House for our wonderful experience.
