Last week Ravens and Frogs have been working on a secret mission to help the plight of the bumble bee. We have been identifying different types of bumble bees and the differences between bumble bees and honey bees.

We have been investigating the school grounds trying to discover which areas of school the bees prefer. Our predictions were correct! Most of the bees were in the school garden collecting pollen! Whilst exploring the school grounds we also made an exciting discovery and found a giant moth which was on a bush looking remarkable like a leaf. On closer inspection it turned out to be a Poplar Hawk moth so named as it looks like the leaf from a popular tree!
