We are very excited to confirm that pupils from Hilperton and Wingfield sites raised almost £300 for the Friends of the Mead with the recent Loose Change Challenge.

The challenge was so successful that it was even covered by the Wiltshire Times – you can read the full article from them here.

In case you missed our original post, the challenge invited all pupils to raid the backs of their sofas, kitchen drawers and car pockets, and bring in any loose change they could find to put into a class jar of pennies. Each class then had the opportunity to go out into the sunshine and place the loose change onto the Art Club’s wonderful creations of bees and flowers.
