Progress and Attainment

Ofsted-Logo2Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people, and services providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Our last Ofsted inspection took place in November 2019 where we were judged to be Good in all areas. Read the latest Ofsted report for our school.

Parents’ Views

Parent-view-logoParents and carers can give their views of our school at any time of the school year and at the time of a school inspection using an online questionnaire called Parent View.  As parents, you are invited to give your views about The Mead Community Primary School to inspectors using the Parent View online facility by clicking the logo to the left.

We are very pleased to see that so many of you would recommend the school to another parent. This shows that you are just  as proud of the school as the children, staff  and Governors are.  At the time of our last inspection (in 2014), 85% of parents said they would recommend the school. We are delighted with the progress made in this area.

Ofsted Video

In 2014 Ofsted produced a video of the Foundation Stage Unit at The Mead Community Primary School as part of a suite of films showing good practice in the Early Years. Please click on the image at the bottom of this page to see the short film. The video focuses on Early Years practice within The Mead Community Primary School.
