On May 13th our community event will have activities in zones to explore significant moments in time from politics, sport, engineering, science, medicine, art, human rights, war. Visitors are invited to express their reaction to each display in different ways including a live newsroom, performance stage, film premiers, creating cartoons or graphic novels, memes, listening project (sharing personal moments like Radio 4), War memorial, map making (different ways to view the world), I have a dream (using Martin Luther King speech), space exploration, Olympic moments, and more. Dressing up, music workshops and stories from around the world will enable younger children to engage with sharing important moments.
One Moment in Time is a community project and event organised by The Mead Community Primary School and funded by the Big Lottery and Friends of the Mead School. Click here for more details.
We hope you are looking forward to the One Moment In Time Event on Saturday May 13th. Why not take a trip down memory lane and revisit previous community days?
