Both Year 2 classes spent separate days at Upper Row farm, near Bath. Farmer Emma was a delightful host, sharing her knowledge on how to care for the animals on her farm. The children were given the task to help her feed some of the animals including the horses, pigs and the kid goats who needed to be bottle fed.
On both days the weather was lovely and the children enjoyed playing in a field in between their jobs! The favourite animal by far, was Jack, the grumpy horse who kept kicking his stable door asking for food and to be put out into a field.
Thank You Farmer Emma- It was a brilliant day out.
