In hedgehogs, we have been learning about the water cycle and created a miniature version of it in our classroom. We poured a small amount of hot water into an old fish tank and covered it with cling film. We then put ice blocks over the top. This caused the water vapour, produced by evaporation, to condense and fall in little droplets back down again. We made some of our own water cycles in bags and stuck them to the windows of our classroom to see what would happen.
