The Mead at Wingfield

“It is the best of both worlds; a village school setting and feel, with big school ambitions and resources.”
(The Mead at Wingfield parent, March 2019)

  • A beautiful expanse of outdoor space, perfect for children who love playing and learning in the great outdoors
  • A convenient location, easily accessible by car from both the A361 and A366
  • A dedicated and experienced team of teachers, TAs and support staff – read more about all of them below

The Mead at Wingfield is truly a hidden gem; nestled in the heart of Wingfield village, the school is located within extensive and beautiful grounds. The strong family feel and sense of community which has been established by our children, parents and staff is wonderful. Working closely with The Mead School in Hilperton, we strive to ensure that Wingfield maintains its small, nurturing village feel, while benefitting from access to larger school ambitions and resources which enables exceptional teaching and learning for our children.

Miss Emma Stacey is the class teacher of Swans class and site leader for The Mead at Wingfield:

“The Mead at Wingfield is a truly unique setting. Benefiting from beautiful grounds, a wonderful village location and the overarching support of the larger team at Hilperton, Wingfield is a cosy, nurturing space for children to grow and flourish in individual ways.  We pride ourselves on the strong sense of community and family values that underpin our setting. Our fabulous team are dedicated to the school, the safety and welfare of its children and in building strong working relationships with our families; our aim is to provide high quality, memorable learning experiences for all our children and for their time at school to be happy and safe.
