Children from Hedgehogs, Skylarks and Stoats took part in an event to mark the end of World War 1. This took place at The Steam Museum in Swindon. Children sang a medley of WW1 songs including ‘It’s a Long Way To Tipperary’, ‘Pack Up Your Troubles’ and a song children at The Mead composed themselves entitled ‘It’ll All Be Over By Christmas’. The children went back in time by dressing in costumes from this era and sang with great enthusiasm and skill. Members of the ‘Golden Oldies’ choir attended the event and commented that they were very impressed with the pupils behaviour and wonderful voices, smiling faces and very clear narration.
