Class Learning

We publish a curriculum booklet for each topic children learn, to give parents and carers an overview of the topic and what is being taught each term. Children in Reception and Year 1 will look at a new topic each term, so there will be 6 curriculum booklets for those year groups each year. Children in Year 2 and above look at a new topic each seasonal term, so there will be 3 curriculum booklets for them each year.

Children at our Wingfield site learn in mixed year groups. They will look at each topic for both year groups during their total time in the class, so that nothing is missed. This may mean, for example, that children in Year 2 at Wingfield are following a different topic to the children in Year 2 at Hilperton.
